Dr. Barbara Thiering was an active member of the University of Sydney's School of Divinity for twenty-two years and a full-time writer and researcher. Her three more recent published books are:

• "Jesus the Man: Decoding the Real Story of Jesus and Mary Magdalene" November, 2006, Simon and Schuster, New York (with a new Foreword)
  
  Translations of "Jesus the Man" are available in German, Danish, Spanish, Polish, Romanian, Hungarian, Japanese, Korean, and Russian (EKSMO, Moscow 2009). Translation into Italian is being prepared.

• "Jesus of the Apocalypse" 1995, Transworld- Doubleday

• The Riddle of the Dead Sea Scrolls- A documentary film about Barbara Thiering's research originally shown on the Australian Broadcasting Corporation.

• Dr. Barbara Thiering was the first to discover the application of the pesher technique to the New Testament and to use the word "pesher".

  By the application of the pesher, according to strict and consistent rules, it is possible to uncover the hidden meaning of the Gospels, Acts, and Revelation. However, there is much to study before becoming a "pesharist", therefore it is important to read Dr. Thiering's books and to study her original contributions here.
